We are seeking motivated, service-oriented young men and women to join our ranks in the prestigious Four Star Leadership program. This world-class summer leadership experience allows 80 top high school students to engage directly with inspirational leaders, including General Tommy Franks.
Four Star Leadership is truly unique. Students will face practical leadership and ethical scenarios, which they will tackle individually in a persuasive speech and writing competition, as well as collaboratively in an Ethics Bowl competition.
The program features team-building exercises, spontaneous problem-solving, and coaching in persuasive speaking and writing, all at no cost to students.
Preparing students for the future, attendees of Four Star Leadership have opportunities to earn scholarships, secure internships, and gain invaluable leadership experience. Those who participate in this program with General Tommy Franks will have a distinct advantage when applying to college and starting their early careers. Many former participants have received letters of recommendation to colleges.
Proven success is a hallmark of Four Star Leadership with General Tommy Franks, a leadership program developed through a partnership between the General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum and the University of Central Oklahoma. This program provides 70 top high school students with invaluable leadership experience through an exciting and challenging curriculum at no cost.
Since its inception in 2008, Four Star Leadership has welcomed over 1,400 U.S. high school students from 49 different states, along with 67 international students. Through interactions with a diverse range of leaders, including kings, governors, senators, and Olympic gold medalists, these students have explored critical national and international issues such as educational reform, foreign policy, and entitlement spending.
